promotion image10th Grade Promotion Requirement- Action Needed

10th grade students are required to create a Career Development Plan as part of their promotion requirements. CVA students will complete this plan using Major Clarity. As part of the process, students must complete two inventory assessments: Learning Styles and Personality. These assignments are available within the program, which can be accessed through Clever.

Many 10th grade students have already finished these tasks, but please check with your student to confirm that everything has been completed.

What is Major Clarity?
Major Clarity is a career and academic planning tool that helps students explore career options and begin planning for high school, college, and beyond. Whether a student plans to pursue a four-year degree, attend a community college, or enter the workforce directly after high school, having clear goals and a plan helps set them up for success.
We are excited to support students as they begin imagining—and preparing for—their futures!

Whether you are planning to earn a 4-year degree or plan to go into the workforce, setting goals and having a plan will help you succeed!

Please click Major Clarity and complete the assignment .

Dear Cabarrus Virtual Families,

We thank you and your family for being our valued partners as we work together to educate and support the children in our district. Cabarrus County Schools’ Strategic Plan outlines the district’s goals and objectives to support the social, emotional, and overall wellness needs of all students.

We would like to inform you that the Panorama Student Survey window will open on March 23, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. EST and will close on March 27, 2026. During this time, students in grades 6–12 will be asked to reflect on their mindsets and approaches to learning by completing an online survey.

Accessing the Survey:
  • Students will use their Student IDs as their access codes.
  • The survey can be accessed at: surveys.panoramaed.com/cabarrusnc
  • The survey should take approximately 15–20 minutes to complete.
All students are encouraged to participate, as their responses—along with teacher feedback—will provide valuable insights into student experiences and help our schools continue to promote well-being and academic success.

You may review survey materials on the Cabarrus County Schools website. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please feel free to contact us at:

Thank you for your continued support.
